Trappers Roundup: Neale Reflects on Beef Cup, Fan Support

Pierre Trappers head coach, Tanner Neale has been at the helm for both of the two years of the franchise’s existence. In both years, Neale has guided the Trappers to stay in the playoff hunt until the final week of the season but falling just short both times.

The difficult part of managing a Summer ball team is not only dealing with injuries, but also guys leaving after a certain amount of playing time meeting the requirements of their college coach. Few guys join the team towards the end of the season so the roster continues to shrink while also playing in important games with playoff implication. The Trappers went 32-32 this season and under Neale are 64-63 going 32-31 in 2018.

Now, since the season has ended, it’s a time to relax and reflect for Neale…

Neale talked about what the Pierre Trappers means to the players and coaching staff…

Neale says he will remember the Spearfish series the most from this season…

Then Neale thanked the fans for the support this season…

The Pierre Trappers will look to the 2020 season and will begin to start releasing their roster when available.
