Volleyball Returns Home, Looks to End Losing Streak

The Pierre Governor volleyball team has played six of its first seven games on the road to open up the 2020 season but tonight, the Governors finally get a chance again to play in front of the home faithful. The Governors will welcome in the Huron Tigers in another ESD match.

The Govs have dropped all three games since the return after the school dealt with COVID-19. The Governors haven’t yet looked like the Governors who started 3-0 but returning home could be the remedy the Govs need to get back on track. Huron had a five game winning streak snapped last Thursday when they fell to Sioux Falls Washington. The Tigers are 8-3 so far on the season.

Head Coach of the Pierre Governors, Kacy Kienholz says Huron is a very experienced team…

And Kienholz says she wants to see this team play with confidence again…

First serve is scheduled for 7:00 on Today’s KCCR, todayskccr.com and on YouTube at KCCR Sports with Jon Winkler on the call.
