Weekend Party Leads To 4 Arrests

Pierre police made four arrests following a weekend noise complaint. Officers were called to the 600 block of West Dakota Avenue around 4:45 A-M Saturday morning. Captain Jason Jones with the Pierre Police Department says a number of individuals were seen running into an apartment complex. The individuals were all under 21 and found to be consuming alcohol. The apartment’s tenant, hosting the party was found to be highly intoxicated and not providing care to an infant in the apartment. Twenty year-old Robert Frost of Pierre was arrested and charged with abuse and neglect of a child, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, common nuisance – place where liquor laws are violated, disorderly conduct and underage purchase or possession of alcohol. A safety plan was developed on scene for further care of the infant. Meanwhile, 22 year-old Wesley Noisyhawk of Pierre was arrested for disorderly conduct, 19 year-old Gene Noisyhawk of Pierre was arrested for possession of marijuana, disorderly conduct and underage possession of alcohol. A second 19 year-old, Angel Summers of Pierre was charged with underage possession or purchase of alcohol. Both Noisyhawks and Summers were transported to the Hughes County Jail. An additional juvenile was detained for underage consumption of alcohol and resisting arrest.
